I couldn't take it anymore. LastPass debut got so much buzz, but that's just one thing I'm not gonna store on the cloud.
I waited till 1Password had their first stable Win version, and bought it. Been using it for a long time. It's a joy. Who uses IE ?? :) Only FF/Chrome. I can store all kinds of sensitive data on it, and its just a shortcut away on any device.
Well off to read part 2 :) good article man !!

Re: RyanKearney.com Will Be Shutting Down

I truly enjoyed your hosting service, Ryan. For a time, you really did this world a wonderful.

Re: RyanKearney.com Will Be Shutting Down

Well that's a shame, but thank you (from reddit) for the fantastic hosting while it lasted!

Re: Use Chrome, Safari, or Opera for Netflix Streaming.

I tried doing it for chrome, but when I copied the code into "target", it didn't fit.

Re: Comparing CDN Performance

We moved to Rackspace Cloud a year ago and never looked back!

It is great value if you are using the Rackspace Cloud Hosting and can use their API directly.

Re: How to: Quickly reach your 32GB bonus space for Dropbox for next to nothing.

No, however the fact that they mentioned your account was suspended for repeated violations would make me draw the conclusion that you're doing something very wrong.

Re: How to: Quickly reach your 32GB bonus space for Dropbox for next to nothing.

Hi. The referral bonus is doubled when you have a paid account, so dropping down to a free account will cut you in half. This is what I ended up doing after iTunes gave the ability to re-download previous purchases (since I could free up over 40GB by moving my music folder out of Dropbox without fear of losing music.)

Re: How to: Quickly reach your 32GB bonus space for Dropbox for next to nothing.

After I reach 82.25gb, I want to cancel dropbox pro50 plan, will my space become (82.25-50) = 32.25?

Re: How to: Quickly reach your 32GB bonus space for Dropbox for next to nothing.

You're brilliant! Android) but adds additional features (there's a feature comparison on the site). There is some kind of browser integration available, but I've never used it so I don't know the details. Note that the 1.x version ("Classic") is not a dead-end, it continues to be supported and updated but its binary file format is essentially fixed so features like history and multiple custom fields are only in the 2.x branch ("Professional") with its XML-based storage.

For portability you can store your KeePass file on a DropBox account, though this does require that you log into DropBox to get to passwords.

Re: Use Chrome, Safari, or Opera for Netflix Streaming.

I have Opera on W7 64 bit and this worked great.

It would be interesting to know why netflix doesn't allow opera when it works flawlessly.

Re: Use Chrome, Safari, or Opera for Netflix Streaming.

Glad I could help!

Thanks for the comment.

Re: Use Chrome, Safari, or Opera for Netflix Streaming.

Thank you!
